Dr. Mackasey was born and raised in Toronto. She attended McGill University where she earned a BSc. in Anatomy and Cell Biology. Dr. Mackasey then completed an MSc in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from University of Ottawa and is a graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.

In her spare time, Kumiko loves to watch movies, read, cycle, travel and try new restaurants. She is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Ottawa Women's Dentist Study Club and the Ottawa Dental Society.

Dr. Mackasey is very excited to join the Lansdowne Dental  team. She is committed to offering excellent care in a friendly and calm environment.  New patients are always welcome for a comprehensive exam.
